AdminAdmin—May 18, 2025

An economic powerhouse with rich cultural diversity, stunning natural landscapes, and home to some of the world’s biggest cities, Brazil also boasts urban hotels that are renowned for their unique architecture and design, which makes them works of art in the metropolitan landscape and visual reference points for both visitors and locals.

Designed to reflect the local culture and history, their architectural richness is evident in every detail. In addition to the meticulously planned façade, the interior spaces, which stimulate imagination and are decorated with contemporary furniture and art pieces of different styles and influences, are designed to provide a unique sensory experience by combining elegance, comfort, and functionality. Discover hotels located in five different Brazilian cities that not only enchant but also provide the perfect settings for memorable moments.

B Hotel, Brasília

The country’s capital, Brasília, is a symbol of Brazilian modernity and a landmark of architecture and urban planning. The city was conceived under President Juscelino Kubitschek, popularly known as JK, in the late 1950s, with a characteristic layout of sinuous lines. The plan, developed by architects Oscar Niemeyer and Lúcio Costa, made the city a milestone in development an a reference in urban design.

B Hotel is located at Eixo Monumental, in the very heart of Brasília, which is like an open-air gallery. The hotel was designed by Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld and features striking architecture, much like the city around it. The building includes free spans, pilotis, and breeze blocks (cobogó). The interior features Brazilian-designed furniture and indigenous art, one of the highlights of its décor.

On the rooftop, Bar 16 offers a beautiful view to enjoy the daily spectacle of the sun setting over the Cerrado while sipping signature drinks.

Hotel Unique, São Paulo

For 15 years, Hotel Unique has been an inspiring landmark in São Paulo. The economic engine of Latin America, the city is known for its cultural diversity, welcoming a wide variety of ethnicities, vibrant cultural life, and having some of the best gastronomic offerings in the Southern Hemisphere. A benchmark in luxury hospitality, Hotel Unique enchants with its service and attention to every detail: architecture, technology, comfort, art, design, fashion, food, and music create a memorable experience for those visiting São Paulo.

Designed by architect Ruy Ohtake, the hotel features 94 suites, with interiors by João Armentano and landscaping by Gilberto Elkis. Aside from the unusual façade for a hotel, its restaurant Skye has a red pool and a lounge with panoramic views of the city’s landmarks, such as Ibirapuera Park and the Paulista Avenue skyline.

Emiliano Rio, Rio de Janeiro

In Rio de Janeiro, Brazil’s postcard city, Emiliano Rio Hotel is located right in front of the famous Copacabana Beach. With contemporary design by Arthur Casas, the hotel offers 90 rooms that emphasize natural light and connect guests to the Marvelous City of Rio.
